What is Surgical Orthodontics
Surgical orthodontics, also known as orthognathic surgery or corrective jaw surgery, is a type of orthodontic treatment or procedure used to correct skeletal problems such as bad bites, jaw bone abnormalities, and malocclusion.
Do I Need Surgical Orthodontics?
Surgical orthodontics may be necessary for someone whose upper and lower jaws do not line up correctly and a proper bite cannot be achieved with orthodontic treatment alone.

- Difficulty chewing, biting or swallowing food
- Chronic jaw or jaw joint (TMJ) pain and headaches
